Dr. Emily loves working with children and pregnant women. She has obtained her certification by the academy and council of pediatrics (CACCP) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Dr. Emily Brown (previously Emily Foster) grew up in Charlevoix, MI. Some of you may recognize her from the Rayder basketball and soccer teams. Upon graduating from Charlevoix High School she went on to Albion College to pursue a degree in Biology with a minor in psychology and a concentration in neuroscience. At Albion she played on the Albion College Women's soccer team for one year before retiring her cleats to focus on her studies. She continued to play on intramural soccer teams, as soccer is one of her favorite hobbies.

While at Albion, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in the health care field because she loved helping people. She met and shadowed a chiropractor and she fell in love with the profession. As someone who had suffered from migraine headaches, she found that chiropractic care quickly freed her from the limitations and pain she had been suffering from. Due to her newfound passion, she applied to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and by October of 2012 she was a chiropractic student. While at Palmer, Dr. Emily continued to play soccer on the Palmer Women's soccer league. She also was an active member in the pediatrics club. In addition, she became a radiology intern as she loved learning about x-rays.

After graduating with her Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Emily was able to move home to Northern Michigan. She is happy to be back with her family. She enjoys hiking with her husband, Micah, and daughter, Poppy in her free time.

In the community Dr. Emily serves on the foundation board for North Central Michigan College and the Celebrate the Magic of the YMCA committee for the YMCA of Northern Michigan.

I am a line cook and spend long hours on my feet which has caused consistent pain in my ankles and feet. I also spend many hours using knives causing shooting pain in my back and shoulder. After seeing Dr. Emily, the shooting pain in my legs and back are gone.
