Your First Visit
Items to Bring With You
If you plan on using your insurance, bring that information with you. Valid driver’s license, current insurance card, spinal x-rays (if you have a copy available to you)
Appointment Duration
New patient appointments last approximately 45-60 minutes. After that adjustments will only take about 5 to 15 minutes.
Your Consultation
Your new patient appointment will consist of a history review with either Dr. Emily Brown or Dr. Ricci Swiderek. Following this will be a spinal examination and evaluation of the functioning of your nervous system. X-rays may be necessary pending what the examination reveals. Assuming no further testing is needed and it is safe to proceed with treatment, an adjustment may be given on your first visit.
Future Visits
Your Treatment
Your second appointment will consist of a brief review of findings from your examination. Your doctor will share her findings with you and the best course of treatment. At this time it is up to you to determine what best fits your schedule and individual health goals.
Wellness Guidance
A full wellness treatment plan may be given to each individual upon request based on their health goals. This plan may include adjustments, nutrition, and any other procedures that your doctor feels will benefit the individual and aid in their healing process.
